Organizations Team Up to Offer Free Reverse Mortgage Workshop:
Stabilize Your Housing, Real Estate Taxes, and Finances with a Reverse Mortgage
Sponsored by the Crisis Ministry, Witherspoon Presbyterian Church, Princeton Senior Center, and Princeton Mortgage Corporation
(TRENTON)—Princeton homeowners aged 62 and over who are concerned about the implications of the recent tax revaluations in the Borough and Township are invited to a free information session on how to stabilize housing, real estate taxes, and finances through a reverse mortgage. Witherspoon Presbyterian Church will host the workshop Wednesday, November 10, at 6 p.m. The church is located at 112 Witherspoon St. in Princeton. Also sponsoring the event are the Princeton Senior Resource Center, the Crisis Ministry of Princeton and Trenton, and Princeton Mortgage Corporation, whose reverse mortgage specialist Corinna Tini will conduct the information session.
A non-profit, 501(c)3 program, the Crisis Ministry partners with the community to achieve stability for neighbors in need. Founded in 1980 by Princeton’s Nassau Presbyterian Church and Trinity Episcopal Church, the organization welcomes some 1,400 individuals and families each month who seek food and/or emergency assistance for rent and security deposits, and utilities. The Crisis Ministry provides welfare-to-work retail training and, with partner Capital Health System, bi-monthly health screenings hosted by First Presbyterian Church of Trenton. Information is available at thecrisisministry.org.
