Mapleton Preserve/D&R Canal State Park, 145 Mapleton Road, Kingston, 609-683-0483. kingstongreenways.org. Work session in the Mapleton Preserve focused on removing autumn olive shrubs that have sprung up under the ginkgo row. Bring saws, clippers, loppers and rakes if you can. Work gloves, sturdy shoes, warm clothing and hats are a must. Free and all are welcome. Service hours available. Refreshments served.
